 | Anton Willig blazed a trail to America aboard the SS Rotterdam on February 13, 1902. It took another six years before his wife, Clara Kovacs, and his two children, Maria and Stephan Willig, could follow. Their descendants include many Willig, Schleis and Sigmund families living in Northeast Ohio. Many years later, it was the Rotterdam that carried Stephan Weiman (the son of Barbara Schnitzler and Leopold Weiman) to be reunited with his brother, George, in Barberton, Ohio. |
